With the wonders of the African bush awaiting those who dare to find them, we invite you to join us at Shelanti. Shelanti, the place of many returns and enduring memories, gives you the chance to escape from the busy city life and experience a piece of Africa. Shelanti can be found in the heart of the bushveld where summers are green and the bush is bursting with young life while the winters offer a stark contrast with dry bush and clear skies.

Location
The 20 000ha Reserve lies between the rural villages of Marken and Baltimore in the Limpopo Province and is not much further than a three hour drive from Johannesburg and less than two hours from Polokwane. Proud to be part of the malaria-free Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, Shelanti is privately owned and managed by a team of enthusiastic and dedicated people whose first qualification is their true love of the bush.
Accommodation
The lodge offers the option of both self-catered and fully-catered (dinner, bed and breakfast) accommodation where a weary traveller can put their feet up and relax, watch the clouds pass or read a book quietly. From the Lodge a number of activities can be arranged for those who are more adventurous. Shelanti is a true ecological paradise for those who can appreciate and respect the African bush at its very best.
Our self-catered Chalets are ideal for that weekend break-away. Each of the five, two bedroom units can house a maximum of five persons. The Chalets are fully equipped with two bathrooms, a small kitchen and an outdoor dining area.
