Accommodation

Each bedroom is en-suite with slipper bath and shower. The luxurious beds invite a cozy nights rest and each room has it’s own entrance off the delightful farm-style verandah.

All our rooms is equipped with electric kettle, tea, coffee and the necessary for your convenience. Normal channel TV and linked DSTV is also available.

Join us for a hearty farm style breakfast in our country kitchen.

Activities

Port Alfred has most of the necessary shopping facilities within walking distance of Riders Rest and abounds with numerous bistro’s, restaurants, street café’s and pubs to satisfy most taste buds. Many of these enjoy either sea or river views.

Bird watching, horse riding, hiking trails, game drives, golf, tennis, water skiing and squash are all available within a 15km radius of Riders Rest.

You can also visit many historical sites and villages, one of these being Bathurst where you will find the oldest pub in the country.
