Ama-Zing Addo, taking place on the 29, 30, and 31 of October, aspires to encourage new visitors to experience the vibrant local culture of Addo and the Sundays River Valley. Organised and hosted by Addo’s local tourism, hospitality and agriculture sectors, Ama-Zing Addo is by Addo, for Addo – supporting this thriving community by bringing the world to Addo, and Addo to the world.
Surrounded by mountains, unspoilt forest, and bush, as well as orchards along the Sundays River, Addo is about so much more than elephants and oranges. We do love the elephants and the oranges, but there is so much more – a wealth of diverse wildlife and safari experiences, beauty and biodiversity, a heritage going back to the Stone Age, luxurious country houses and pampering retreats, fine dining, country hospitality, working farm stays and exhilarating outdoor adventures. Loads of things to see, do, taste and experience.
Ama-Zing Addo brings together our local hospitality and talents, in addition to hosting some of South Africa’s icons of food, wine and performing arts.
We invite visitors to Addo to experience the charm, vibrancy and diversity of our village and surroundings, and give our local entrepreneurs an opportunity to showcase their wares. Ama-Zing Addo has something for everyone and anyone!
Ama-Zing Addo is designed for a Covid-conscious world, with the various wine, food, entertainment, and shopping options spread out across numerous guesthouses, farms, retail, and public open spaces.
