Riversong Farm, Still Bay

Riversong Farm is a 175 hectare farm on the banks of the tranquil and beautiful Goukou River, which stretches lazily down to the Indian Ocean some thirteen kilometres away. Here it meets the traditional and very popular seaside village of Stilbaai, famous for it’s Blue Flag status beaches and surfing.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river with tangerine trees and marmalade skies

Whether boating into the village, swimming, waterskiing or going on a booze cruise, there is a jetty and slipway from which to launch your activities. The tidal nature of the vast Goukou estuary ensures deep, clean and safe water all year round.

We are surrounded by miles of hiking and mountain bike trails.

The farm stretches back for 5 kms through kloofs and hills, past beautiful freshwater dams, where there are caves with authentic Bushman paintings, and ending in the backlands of fynbos, protea and thatch.

The incredible birdlife on the farm is where Riversong derived its name. We wake up to the kingfishers and weavers and go to sleep to the sound of nightjars and owls.

We have dogs, cats, sheep and rescued donkeys and ponies. All of these guys are resident and loved for their natural lifetime. We are quite simply the worst and most unprofitable farmers in the entire area, if not the world.

We offer three wooden chalets and the main farmhouse, all fully equipped. The total number of beds is 16. We supply braai wood and all bedding and even have a canoe. We also have boat with a 25 HP engine for hire. Please enquire as to availability.

Pets are welcome under certain conditions which need to be discussed with Piers when making your booking. Approval is required prior to arrival. There is an additional minimal charge. Our animals and their protection, as well as the protection of yours, are very important to us.
