The St Helena Bay Hotel is located on the west coast of South Africa, and is just over one hour’s drive from Cape Town. The hotel offers a peaceful retreat, yet boasts a range of facilities. Accommodation is offered in en-suite luxury hotel rooms, self-catering chalets, and backpacker bungalows all with en-suite bathrooms. The courtyard has an enclosed braai (BBQ) area and pool with a stunning view where you’re more than welcome to enjoy a cocktail in the afternoon.

The Whale Creek Restaurant and Shipwreck Pub seats up to 50 people and offer lovely views over the bay. Guests can also dine on the outside veranda, to enjoy the view enjoy some peace and quiet in our private lounge area. The shipwreck pub has its own unique character, its one of the oldest bars in the bay as fisherman in the old days used to meet at the pub after a hard works day at sea.
The hotel also offers an air-conditioned conference room that can set up to 50 delegates, as well as a spacious function hall can comfortably seat 200 people. The function hall has its own bar and kitchen facilities, and is ideal for wedding receptions, 21st birthday parties or any other function.
The hotel can also offer off-premises catering as and when required. While the hotel projects a relaxed atmosphere, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, kite surfing, fishing, hiking, bird watching and golf, just to name a few.
