We have always been committed to strengthening communities, empowering individuals and conserving wild spaces. Through responsible business practices and people-facing programs, we enable change immediately and provide growth for years to come.
TIMBAVATI CAMPS – GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Safari Camp
Amongst enormous trees on the banks of the Nlharalumi Riverbed, this intimate camp of just 12 tents is a celebration of where our journey began.
Found in the Timbavati, Tanda Tula Safari Camp embodies grounded African elegance and the romance of the wild. The warmth of the people who live and work here sparks a safari of self-discovery, and immersion within the rhythms of the African wilderness.
Field Camp
Being present, grounded and inquisitive allows for exploration into a transformative experience at Tanda Tula Field Camp.
Together, tracking big game on foot in the Timbavati, our highly trained trackers and guides reveal the tempos of the wild through their insight and skill. Field Camp changes location with every season creating rare experiences that are truly unique.
GREATER KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
The world-famous Greater Kruger National Park (GKNP) is South Africa’s largest complex of game reserves, and one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The GKNP has nearly four million hectares of unfenced African wilderness where one of the largest varieties of African mammal species on the continent roam freely.
Within the GKNP are the renowned Timbavati, Klaserie and Sabi Sand reserves. Tanda Tula has two tented camps located in the Timbavati (Safari Camp and Field Camp). As we work to build a more inclusive future, we are keenly aware of the importance of supporting the communities here and preserving this pristine area for future generations.
