At the heart of the Limpopo Province is Bela Bela, formally Warmbaths, then Warmbads, and now Bela Bela, which means ‘boiling boiling’. The names are derived from the hot springs that were discovered in the 1857 and are now monumentised in the Forever Resorts Bela Bela in the centre of the town.
