Accommodation

The hotel is graded by the Tourism Grading Council and received three stars. The Lambert’s Bay Hotel consists of 47 comfortable, well situated and tastefully decorated bedrooms with a nautical theme.

  • 6 Family Rooms (Two double beds per room or two ¾ beds & one double bed per room)
  • 1 Inter-leading Family Room (Two separate rooms with one double & two three quarter beds sharing a bathroom)

Restaurants

As for food and drink, there is Waves A’ la Carte Restaurant, Lobster Port and the Anchor fully licensed Ladies Bar on the premises. Everybody is welcome to make use of the facilities we have.

Our Anchor Bar provides the best West Coast “liquids” and entertaining local conversation to make your stay memorable!

Snug in convivial Waves Restaurant you’ll be offered an a la carte menu that focuses on local ingredients. The famous eat-as-much-as-you-wish carvery and seafood buffets are available throughout most of flower season (Aug-Sep) and on request.

Waves Restaurant is open for dinner and the menu gain inspiration from local and international cuisine. Seafood rules, but there’s also steak and other red meats if you have surfeit of seafood, and vegetarian options if you’re not into meat at all. Highlights include Smoked Salmon and Chicken Salad, Snoek pâté with Rooibos Tea Loaf, Seafood a la Waves (Pasta) and Crayfish in season.

Of interest to winelovers is the extensive, reasonable priced wine list, which includes a variety of wines from the local West Coast Wine Route.

The famous Lobster Port is open from 12h00 in the afternoon serving light meals. Enjoy a tasty sandwich , tramazzini, wrap, quesadillas or our famous fried hake & chips, while watching fishing boats gently make their way into the harbour.

A full traditional English breakfast is also served in the restaurant and included in the room rate. The breakfast consists of continental, with fresh croissants, muffins, yogurt etc to hot, with omelettes, bacon and more. Outside guests are welcome to enjoy a hearty breakfast in our hotel.
