Angelo’s is a true family restaurant which is still run and owned by the same family for more than twenty years. The pictures which adorn our walls are not just a random selection of frames, they are all family photos going back at least four generations. We are all there, parents, grandparents and great-grandparents as well as the present young generation. The plates on the walls are another special feature of our restaurant.
Family owned, family run
Over the years we have had a lot of “famous” guests, and it is a tradition to request them to sign a plate for our collection. These range from sports stars, TV personalities, beauty queens, musicians, etc. This has grown over the years and they provide a wonderful testament to the food and ambience of our restaurant. We are enormously proud of the fact that so many of these guests consistently return and always hunt out ‘their’ plate before settling down for another meal.
The continued success of any restaurant relies heavily on local support and in this aspect we are very fortunate indeed.
