Grazia Fine Food & Wine is a gathering spot for foodies, quickly establishing a name as an upmarket venue, living up to its title of offering fine food. In its elevated position overlooking Esplanade, with Orient beach to the right and Eastern beach to the left, the restaurant has a spacious patio, encouraging alfresco style dining with umbrellas, cafe chairs and tables.
Fine food and wine
The fresh interior has a feeling of speciousness due in part to large windows, uncluttered decor and sweeping sea views. Even with its modest palette, the use of dark wood furniture and fittings lend a sophisticated feel to the space.
The menu simply groans with mouth-watering delights, that will excite your palate, and perhaps even educate you. Starters include Afettato Misto and Carpaccio, through to the highly recommended butternut soup.
The menu is obviously strongly Italian-influenced, as is apparent in the pasta dishes on offer, such as the Linguini all marinara and the layered gnocchi. Main courses include whole pork fillet, stuffed with spinach and mozzarella and covered with a creamy Dutch sauce, and another highlight – the Corsican Lamb Shank, which is cooked until tender and then wrapped in phyllo pastry and oven baked. Even the dessert menu beguiles us, as we know that their Tiramisu must taste like it is heaven-sent.
