Masithandane Mosaic Project, Sedgefield

Masithandane is a Christian based, registered non-profit and public benefit organisation located in the Eden district in Sedgefield. They celebrated their 10th birthday in 2016. They build partnerships and work collaboratively with the public and private sector as well as local organisations in order to serve those: living in Smutsville, Sizamile, Fairview, Karatara, Elandskraal, Barrington and Farleigh who have been infected/affected by: HIV/AIDS and TB as well as widows, orphans and the destitute.

Let us love one another

The Mosaic Project was launched in February 2008 to attract Art Tourism to Sedgefield and stimulate the installation of mosaics throughout the town as well as build links between Smutsville/Sizamile and Sedgefield town.  Masithandane is the implementing agent and co-ordinates and manages the Sedgefield Community Mosaic Art Tourism and Job Creation Project. The project carries the support of Knysna Tourism, Knysna Municipality and local business.
