Pick-a-Piece was started in 2012, it is a community project for children. The scheme is based on one that began in Hermanus some years ago and there are now more than 30 individual schemes around the country. The Prince Albert project is based at the POP centre in Rondomskrik, in an area where poverty is at its worst and the need is greatest.
