Schotia Safari (“Tooth and Claw” Safari)
The Schotia Tooth & Claw Safari is a four hour guided game drive in an open Land Rover with a brief stop for refreshments and a toilet break at the halfway point. After an amazing experience, where you will view more animals than you thought possible, you can enjoy a delicious dinner which is prepared over an open fire, followed by a short spotlit night game drive providing the possibility of seeing nocturnal animals completing your experience as we return to our reception area.
Guided Addo Game Drive
Our experienced and enthusiastic Guide will locate as much game as possible during your drive. As the drive is all day, you will likely have the opportunity to see most game species. The first few hours are usually good to see antelope, zebra and lion. At 10h30 we will stop for a tea/coffee and a rusk break, we then continue with the drive. Usually, we have good sightings of elephants and buffalo in the late morning near the waterholes. At lunchtime, we’ll stop again and serve a delicious South African “braai”, consisting of 3 types of meat, salads and rooster brood. A delicious vegetarian option is available on request. Refreshments include; red & white wine, beer, tea or coffee, fruit juice and mineral water. After lunch, we continue with the game drive and leave the park at around 17h30 and return to the lodge.

Addo National Park
The main artery through the park is tarred and the various loops off it are well-maintained gravel roads. Explore more than 75 kilometres of road through prime wildlife country. There are several lookout points at waterholes.
Open hours change according to season. No reservation is required. Park entry/conservation fees can be paid at the main gate. Restaurants and toilets are available within the park.
Sundays River Sunset Cruise
Inhale in the fresh ocean air while cruising along the serene Sundays River, watching out for indigenous birdlife and marvelling at the towering Alexandria Dune Sea which is the largest and least degraded coastal dune field in South Africa, close to the Addo Elephant Park.
The river cruise includes a stop at these magnificent dunes, from the top of which you can enjoy one of the most spectacular views in Nelson Mandela Bay, the vast blue sea and sky and the islands of the coastal section of Addo National Park.
Adrenaline Addo
Zip Line: A short hike up to the edge of the valley finds the starting platform of the highest, longest and fastest double zip-line in the country! Fast, fun, and safe, this exhilarating ride begins from a vantage
point 60 meters above the Sundays River, overlooking a valley of lush citrus orchards. Zip for 500m over the valley and finish off with a refreshing drink at the picturesque café next to the river.

Exhilarating quad biking tours, off the beaten track through Addo’s spectacular environment, from Valley Bushveld and the Sunday River to beautiful citrus orchards. The tracks vary from scenic routes on open roads and citrus orchards for beginners to technical routes which have sneaky twists and inclines along the Sundays River.
Sundays River Sandboarding

You’ll depart from the dock at Colchester, Addo, with a short boat cruise along the Sundays River to the soaring dunes. There’s time to take in the beauty of the river, birdlife and the coastal section of the Addo National Park before the fun starts.
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned sand boarder, our guides will have you boarding like a pro in no time! Excursions are available in 2 or 3-hour tours, which will give you enough time to get into your groove, master some new skills and cool off in the river.
