Blue Cottages Country House is situated at the foot of the Drakensburg mountains about 20 mins from Hoedspruit and 45 mins from the Kruger National Park, at the heart of ‘big five” country. Blue Cottages is also ideally situated for access to the Blyde River Canyon.
Set in a citrus and mango farm
Set in the grounds of a luscious citrus and mango farm we have a range of accommodation including a number of traditional African Rondavels, which are idyllic thatched cottages. All of our Rondavels look out over the beautifully mature gardens.
As well as our charming accommodation and tranquil grounds our guests can cool off in our large swimming pool and stay connected with free Wi-Fi. Rooms include air conditioning or overhead fans, most have purpose built en-suite bathrooms and DSTV. We also have large accommodation sleeping six with self catering facilities as well as a number of braai areas.
Our rates include bed and breakfast, but we would be delighted to provide a candlelit one, two or three course evening meal. For a bite at lunch time visit our Mad Dogz Cafe for home cooked food.
