Holiday Programme

The bulk of our programme will be running from 16-23 December with one or two events before and after this period. Many of you will be pleased to know that Jannie du Toit will be back this year doing his tour along the coast back to Cape Town.

It’s been a long while since we could properly get together; the NVT team is really looking forward to it and hope to bring something different for your enjoyment this year!! Have a look at the preliminary programme to the left and start planning and stoking the excitement on your family WhatsApp groups.

2023 Nature’s Valley Calendar

What a turnout for the wonderful 2023 NV calendar. As many would have seen in previous notifications, the new calendar will provide more space to save those important dates and any additional notes. The calendars are currently being printed and are expected to arrive in early December.

The NVT team would like to say thank you to all the participant photographers, your talents, and views of the Valley, its surroundings, and spirit have not gone unnoticed! A thank-you to our external judges and all the public voters. Finally, a big thank-you to all who have ordered a calendar! These are a special bunch having only a limited quantity available, and we truly appreciate all the support we have received throughout the process. This is a lovely community compilation of what the Valley means to us all and the shared memories in some way or another.

The EXPEDITION Project (TEP) conference

The EXPEDITION Project (TEP) has been an avid supporter of NVT and the work we do for many years and is continuously looking for more ways to assist us with raising valuable funds. In October, The Expedition Project (TEP) held its second Wildlife Conservation in South Africa Conference. The online conference included presentations by Nature’s Valley Trust, Cape Leopard Trust, Marine Dynamics/Dyer Island Conservation Trust, Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, Terry-Lee Honiball, and Provet Animal Hospital and features on the Zululand Conservation Trust, Enza Safari and BioWise living – Nature reconnect.

The online conference offers a range of content and expert speakers from superb organisations, with some of the most inspiring conservation projects, researchers and conservationists in South Africa. All the funds raised through ticket sales were shared among the organisations taking part. If you missed the conference or would like to have a look at any of the presentations or support any of the organisations, please follow this link for replays and project features.

Thank you TEP for your support of NVT and all the various other conservation NPOs in South Africa. We truly appreciate it!

NVT has been involved in all of the below online events. Buying a post-event ticket allows you to watch replays, and get involved in discussions and your purchase is an automatic donation!
