Once in a life-time opportunities to explore the most remote and least understood places and biodiversity, and the potential to make some of the most significant discoveries in the world of wildlife conservation.

Join custom designed expeditions into the wilderness to search for species that have been lost to science or to identify new species using modern scientific techniques. Utilizing new environmental DNA (eDNA) techniques, these expeditions could significantly improve the accuracy and efficiency of discovering and conserving lost or rare species.

CONSERVATION OF RARE, VULNERABLE AND THREATENED SPECIES

The programme is based at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre, which is home to cheetah, wild dogs, white rhino, lion, African wild cats, Ground hornbills, Sable antelope, to name only a few.

Selecting only a few students per two weeks, the Dyer Island Marine Experience will bring elements of the Wildlife Conservation in South Africa course to life with a combination of penguin rehabilitation, marine protection, shark research, plus marine veterinary exposure on demand. After 17 years pf working with aspiring wildlife vets we have created the Wildlife Vet Experience - the most authentic, ethical and exciting hands-on vet experience available!
We’ve designed an exclusive package just for vets-in-training that is both affordable and of high quality. It’s built around our principles of collaboration, credibility and accessibility by connecting communities and exceptional projects and experts while not sacrificing some of the fantastic food and accommodation that South Africa has to offer.

ONLINE COURSES
Wildlife Vet Online Level 1, 2 and 3 (Bronze, Silver and Gold) are designed to fit different budgets and are not needed to be taken in order. Level 1 is the lowest price package and includes the basics. Level 2 includes everything from Level 1 plus video lessons and transcripts. Level 3 includes everything from Level 1 and 2 plus case studies, ecology and e-books.
