Our growing collection of mini-courses is a doorway into the conservation industry and more, presenting content directly from wildlife veterinarians, ecologists, biologists and game reserves. We’ve packaged our course topics as individual modules to make them accessible and affordable, while also allowing learners to mix and match their own learning programmes.

You can purchase anything in The Expedition Project as a one-off purchase or mix and match several modules to design your own course…and local rates and added benefits, especially for SA members!

Search our listed destinations and design your perfect self-drive road trip: Our partners, which include projects, hospitality establishments and local businesses, are our collaborators across Southern Africa – allowing you to connect with as much of a town or community as possible. Design the perfect adventure in your own vehicle or get inspiration from our tried and tested road trips.

Keeping a hand on the pulse of the nation is important! Our project list is ever-growing. The more towns we visit the more projects we discover. And in some cases, these projects change, develop or merge. We need hands on the ground all over Southern Africa to let us know, in real-time, as things change for the better or worse.

South African ambassadors are required to help with monthly visits to projects within your area to:

• Conduct project interviews
• Take project and partner photos
• Help with project filming
• Get updates from projects and find new projects
• Find out what current project needs and wishes are
