ZaZoe Wildlife Project, Swartwater

Information

ZaZoe Xperience & Lodge is located in the Waterberg area in the northern part of the Limpopo province, close to the border with Botswana and the Limpopo river. It’s an easy to find lodge near Swartwater on the R572. A perfect stopover on your way to/from Botswana. Comfy & cosy beds, beautiful rooms, all with en suite shower & toilet. Two, three and four person chalets & rondawels. We do offer self-catering with a fully equipped, communal kitchen with all pots and pans, utensilts, stove / oven, friges and freezers. And there is a huge braai area as well including a decent stack of fire wood. All at your disposal.

The lodge is owner-managed and welcomes a maximum of 18 guests.

The small, intimate lodge with its thatched chalets is located in a 1,000 hectare private game park, Here you can enjoy the abundant bird life as well as all kinds of antelopes, giraffes, zebra, ostrich, warthogs and foxes. Even cheetah, hyena, lion and jackal are spotted every now and then, yet they come and go as they please.
It is the land of the beautiful Baobab trees as well as the Marula, Knob-Thorn, Jackal berry, Mopani thorn, Jacaranda’s etc.

ZaZoe offers a true African bush veld experience in a malaria free area. Ideal to unwind and relax as well as to get active and sportive. It is a convenient stop-over on your way from/to Botswana.

Owners Rex & Natascha Snelder will do everything to make your stay memorable. In 2014 as well as 2015 they won the Zoover Award in the category ‘lodges’ in South Africa! Their average review scores a 9.3! Guests were especially pleased with the service level and personal attention.
