Spotted hyaena are the largest of the hyaenas, weighing up to 60kg and standing at a height of up to 80cm. Spotted hyaena have a thick neck, broad shoulders, and a sloping back. They have sharp teeth with canine like incisors, and incredibly strong jaws.
