If they live in the desert…how do they find water? Lions actually get most of their water when they eat their prey

Lions can eat up to 40kg of meat in one meal! This is almost a quarter of what they weigh!

Lions eyes are much better than ours. They can hunt for their food at night time and catch them by surprise.

Lions are also very sneaky! They hunt during storms so that prey cannot hear them over the thunder and lightening.

Female lions hunt with the males. They play the ‘centre of attention’, distracting the prey from the other ‘wing’ lions that chase that prey into the centre.
