If you’ve been searching online for wildlife volunteering opportunities, you may be overwhelmed by the options out there. For this reason, we’ve designed an exclusive package just for you. It’s built around a unique Wildlife Conservation Partnership involving several exceptional projects in South Africa. In fact, these are the most ethical and successful wildlife conservation projects we’ve visited over the past 10 years.

Why choose The Expedition Project for Wildlife Volunteering?

You can choose to go direct to any of our partnering projects – the cost is the same and the outcomes will be too. However, with us, you join a network that focuses on collaboration, transparency, and responsible travel. As a social enterprise, we are unique in our community partnerships and project spending. Additionally, our expeditions include donations and community support, carbon offset via tree plantings, and local business partnerships. Where your money goes is very important to us!

Dates: Currently paused for route redesign

Join us for anything from 2 to 8 weeks with airport pick-ups and drop-offs available.

Starting at £70 GBP / $100 USD / *R1455 ZAR (for 2022) per day (2 weeks minimum)
*Rate based on required South African Rand and therefore international currencies subject to change.
