Driving Change

The EXPEDITION Project connects inspiring, sustainable projects and individuals with each other and with the resources they need, and it shares their stories with the world.

Since 2011 we have travelled 32054km, visited 353 towns & 152 projects, with the help of 405 hospitality partners to meet and understand the challenges communities face. We then connect  projects, communities, ideas and individuals with each other, share their successes and help take them one step further with contacts, expertise and funding.

We are literally 'Driving Change'!

Friends of Chintsa - #TEP2013 Route 3

Project Hunting in the Karoo - #TEP2013 Route 3

We arrive in some towns with few, if any, contacts and no preconceived ideas with the hope that we'll come across an unexpected project gem. Often this means discovering something in its teething stages, whereas other times people are struggling to figure out how to get started. And then there are also those who have given up before they even get going.

Steam rather than boil your veggies to save a quart or more of water. Better yet, try giving vegetables a quick rinse, placing them in a covered bowl, and microwaving them for a minute or two.
